Pay in full, minimum or custom

Each month your bank issues a statement: the balance on the statement day and a minimum payment. The card shows it on one line, for example Statement 320 OMR · min 16 due 24 Sep.

When you tap Mark paid on a card with a statement, choose one of three amounts:

  • Pay in full: the statement balance. Spending after the statement day stays on the balance for next month's statement.
  • Minimum: the minimum payment. The bank counts you as on time, but your payoff month moves later.
  • Custom: any amount. Your plan's monthly payment is filled in for you, and you can change it.

The month counts as paid once your payments for it reach the minimum, and several smaller payments add up. A payment below the minimum still comes off the balance, but the card stays due, and it's late once the due date and its Pay within N days window have passed.

If you haven't entered this month's statement, the card asks What's this month's statement balance? from the statement day. On a linked card it asks only when no statement message has arrived within two days. If you don't enter the minimum, Surrah uses 5 % of the statement balance, and at least 5, unless the balance is smaller.
