Price changed? (Surrah+)
With Surrah+, Surrah notices when a subscription or bill starts costing more, or less, than the price you entered.
When you link a bank charge to a repeating commitment, or Surrah links it for you, and the amount differs from the commitment's price by more than 1%, the commitment asks Price changed? and shows the new amount next to the old price. When the charge comes from a bank message, you may also get a notification.
- Update price: the new amount becomes the commitment's price from the next payment. Payments you already made stay exactly as they were.
- Not now: nothing changes, and Surrah won't ask about the same new price again. It asks only if a different price shows up.
If the charge is in another currency, Surrah converts it to the commitment's currency first, and any difference up to 5% counts as the usual price, because banks add exchange fees. Rounding differences of 1% or less never ask.
If a newer price shows up before you answer, the question shows the newest one. If you unlink the charge, the question goes away.
Loans, credit cards and savings goals never ask, and neither do bills whose amount changes every time.
