See how your project plan changed
Plans move. Surrah keeps the first version of yours so you can see how far the scope has grown.
The first version
When you close Project plan for the first time with at least one line, Surrah saves the plan as it stands. From then on the plan shows two columns, Original and Current, and a line that says Scope grew by (or Scope shrank by) the difference.
The Changes list
Open Changes on the Project plan for every edit: amounts that moved, lines added or removed, a new project total, and presets applied. Each entry shows who made it and when. A preset counts as one entry. Use Show older changes for earlier ones.
Add a reason
When you change a line amount or the project total, a Why? (optional) box appears, for example "The contractor sent a new quote". Keep it to 200 characters. The reason shows with the change.
Good to know
- Renaming a line or changing its emoji isn't logged.
- Deleting a line shrinks Scope grew by.
- The history can't be edited or deleted.
- Everyone in the project can read it. Only owners and editors can make changes.
