Repeating goals

Some goals come around every year, like a yearly trip or school fees. Turn on Repeats every year when you add or edit a savings goal, and you can start it again once you reach it.

When a repeating goal reaches its target, it's completed as usual, and Start next year appears first among the choices. Tap it and Surrah:

  • records the money you saved as taken out, so the goal's history keeps every deposit and that withdrawal;
  • sets the goal's balance back to 0;
  • moves the Target date one year on, for example from 15 Jun 2027 to 15 Jun 2028.

The goal is active again, and its pace for the new year starts from the old target date.

It never happens on its own: the goal stays completed until you tap Start next year. If you close the choices, you'll also find Start next year when you open the completed goal later.

A goal without Repeats every year completes as usual, with the choice to withdraw its balance.
