Set up your salary and payday
Coverage needs two things from you: how much you earn, and the day you're paid. Both live in one short sheet, and both are free for everyone — no subscription needed.
Adding your salary
- Open Commitments. At the top you'll see the Coverage card — tap Add your salary on it.
- Enter your Salary amount. Put it in your main currency; Surrah converts your commitments to match.
- Set your Payday — the day of the month you're normally paid, from 1 to 31.
- Save.
Coverage fills in straight away.
About payday on the 29th, 30th or 31st
If you're paid on a day some months don't have, Surrah uses the last day of the short month and returns to your real day afterwards — the same way commitment due dates behave. Set payday to the 31st and February pays on the 28th (or 29th), then March is back to the 31st.
Changing or removing it
Open the salary sheet again any time to change either figure. To clear it entirely, tap Remove salary — Coverage goes back to its empty state and nothing about your commitments or goals is touched.
Your salary is private
It's stored against your account, not your space, and it's never included when Surrah shows the other people who share a space with you. Only you ever see it. There's more in the FAQ: "Who can see my salary?"
