Your credit card as a payoff plan

Add a Credit card commitment when you want a plan that brings the balance to zero. Enter what you owe now as the balance, and what you'll pay each month. You can also set a Credit limit and the Statement day, the day your bank issues the statement.

  • Be free by …: pick the month you want to be debt-free, and Surrah works out the monthly payment that gets you there. Or type a payment and see the month the plan ends.
  • With a credit limit, the card shows how much of it you're using, for example 42 % used.
  • Your plan: pay 100 is your monthly payment. Spent on this card this month: 150 is the new spending added to the balance this month.
  • If you add more than you pay in a month, you'll see You added more than you paid; the plan is slipping, and a line such as Payoff moved Mar 2027 → Jun 2027 because of new spending.
  • On a card you enter by hand, add new purchases with Add new spending. With Surrah+, you can link the card instead, so purchases arrive from your bank messages. See Link your card.

New spending never counts as the month's payment. When the balance reaches zero, the plan is complete.
